Web Design and Graphics Work

Typically many clients do not want us to build complete web sites for them, as they already have in-house skills. However, we are often appoached to design initial templates and graphics, to provide a basis on which they can then build their own sites. This is very cost effective, whilst also allowing the client to keep full control of their own sites.

Web Application Development

A number of clients have approached us for one off web applications to be written, typically database driven, which once completed, simply "slot into" their existing web sites. Applications produced to date include news systems, on-line diaries, who's who directories and room reservation systems. Technologies utilised depend upon requirements, but in the past have included server-side ASP/COM, JSP, Java servlets and client-side javascript, Flash and DHTML.

Hosting

We can host your site for you here at visualizedesign, or assist you in finding a suitable ISP. The choice is totally up to you.
Costs: Hosting at visualizedesign costs £150.00+VAT pa, which includes POP3 email accounts, MS Access ODBC/OLEDB, ASP and 5MB of web space. Set up fee is £35.00+VAT

Consultancy

Members of the team are available for consultancy, on either a daily or half-daily basis. Consultancy services offered include

• Web site design assistance
• Technical consultancy
• Usability work, including evaluation and testing
